4 large eggs
150g granulated sugar
200g all-purpose flour
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and line a rectangular cake pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until thick and pale.
Sift the flour into the egg mixture in batches, gently folding it in with a spatula until just combined. Be careful not to overmix to maintain a light texture.
In a small saucepan, warm the honey, milk, and vegetable oil over low heat. Stir until well combined. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
